Shabby Chair Re-do

Happy June everyone!!

Hope you enjoyed the weekend?

I've been working so very hard on the dresser, hutch and this awesome chair I found at a thrift store in Daytona a week or so ago:




She's was a beauty just the way she was...




Just not my style..




Especially with the patterned dirty seat!




But... LOVE LOVE LOVE the curves and carvings on her!

So, I bought her, and took her home.

I sanded, painted and shabbied her up...




Took the old seat cover off and recovered with dropcloth...





Ta da!!!!

    I think the SAME thing, the white paint on the carvings just makes it "drip" with gorgeousness!!
