  1. OMG it is gorgeous and huge!!! I think I have heard of this mall. My aunt and uncle live in the Villages and it is close to them. It is the new hot antique area. Is it by a Tea House, my aunt described it as all feminine with table clothes etc? If this is the place I am planning a trip up in the fall. It is kind of a haul from you isn't it? More pictures please!

  3. OMG, your booth looks so pretty. It's so romantic and soft, just the kind of stuff I love.
You will find that you will be doing lots of "fluffing!" It's the most fun part of having a booth.

I know you are going to be a big success.

  7. Thanks so much, everyone!!

SueBee: Nope, I havne't met any of the other dealers yet.. Hope to soon, though! You should come back and see if there are any openings, when I asked a couple of weeks ago, there were a couple opening up soon.

Rebecca: Thankyou much! Wish you didn't either ;)

Benita: Thankyou!! Wildwood is only a few miles off of 75, the mall is on Rte.44. I'll see if I can add a map to this post, but, the address is above.

Sissie: Thanks so much darlin', I'm so happy I've "met" you.. always so positive and supportive! Thankyou!!

    Stephanie: Thankyou! :)

Carol: Um.... I'm not sure about the tableclothed girly part, there is a cafe/restaurant inside on the other side, but, I haven't had time to go over there and check it out. The Villiages is only a hop skip and a jump away, so, it might be the same one you're thinking of. The address is up above in my post. From where I live it only takes me about a 1/2 hour. I chose this mall becuase so far, it's my favorite. It's HUGE! There literally something for everyone there.

  9. Hi, Tynk! Glad to have you as a "partner in crime" at Traditions Antique Mall. I have been at Traditions for a couple of years...the mall will be three years old in October. It's a wonderful mall with wonderful dealers...including me..lol! We get so many comments on the place and many repeat customers. I have three spaces in the mall...Space A, the one I just featured on my blog www.rustygateantiques.blogspot.com and two more spaces in the back where it is not air-conditioned. I will be up there on Monday and will go check out your space and all your treasures. I look forward to meeting you. And, I hope together we can encourage some new shoppers to head our way...they'll be glad they did! A note to Polka Dot Closet: the restaurant in the mall is currently closed, but there is a tea room on hwy 301, 5 minutes from the mall, called Polly's Pantry (rave reviews but I have not been there yet) and another restaurant further up hwy 301 called Cotillion Southern Cafe...tablecloths, vintage dishes, and fried green tomatoes! Glad to have you as a new follower, Tynk!

  10. Hi Denise! Thanks so much for coming over and commenting soooo much information for me! Since I'm new, this is great :) I've only been shopping at Traditions for about 6 months, I'm going to have to search out your spot(s) when I get back from Michigan next week!

I love Traditions Antique Mall, and so happy I was accepted to show/sell my things, crossing my fingers and toes for good luck and fun in my booth :)

Thanks for coming over again, and introducing yourself. We'll have to meet some day soon, for sure!!

  13. Your booth looks so inviting. Is Wildwood where the Russell Stover store is? Every time I visit my parents in The Villages, we have to buy candy. If you're close to that, I'd love to stop in on my next trip to FL. That will probably in Dec.

  18. Tynk, I think the new booth has kept you busy, it is pretty time consuming keeping it stocked and straightened.
