I went thrifting today for a bit..
Would love to share my finds with ya'll..
And, ask ya's for a bit o' help.
I found this:
Does anyone have a clue what it is?
A friend on my
suggested it might be a toast or napkin holder.
I'm going with toast holder, but, would really
love to know for sure.
Do you have any clue?
I also found all of these:
A huge ironstone platter: 21 x 14.5!
No cracks, no chips.. just gorgeous!
Marked James Edwrds & Sons/Dalehall.
Searched on the internet a bit, found that it's
dated 1852-1882. (yay!)
Perfectly hand painted shabby chic pink plate.
Again, no chips, no cracks..
Just perfect!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
all these wooden eggs!!
I asked the lady at the store,
"How much for the wooden eggs?"
She says, "You can have everything in the box for $8."
SOLD!
The picture below shows what else, besides the eggs,
that was in the box for the low price of $8.
There's some vintage buttons, craft stix,
wood plaques, velcro, confetti,
apholstry needles,
glass etching kit and more!
Found these books to craft with..
upon further inspection and investigating ,
the top one looks like it might be from the 1800's..
There is no date inside.http://www.hds.harvard.edu /library/bms/bms00685.html
And, here's my Mirror Makeover:
I found this mirror in an antique store
a couple of weeks ago.
I just love these types of frames.
A couple of coats of white paint later..
It now resides on my wall..
LOVE!
